A Chinese white glaze bowl with dragons, Guangxu six-character mark and of the period (1875-1908)

白釉龙纹暗花碗, 光绪六字款 (1875-1908), 光绪, 连木架

 

the steep sided bowl gently incised to the exterior with two five-clawed dragons chasing flaming pearls amongst flames and cloud scrolls in a very pale green on a white glaze ground, the base with a Guangxu six-character mark in underglaze blue, with a carved wood stand with five ruyi shaped feet (2)

 

此白釉碗釉色带青绿,碗身刻有两条暗花蛟龙戏珠图样,底部有青花 “大清光绪年制” 楷书六字款, 配如意五足木架

Condition:
The bowl with a small chip and some small firing marks to the rim, the body with two brown firing imperfections, and a small crack to the foot rim, the wood stand with wear to the surface and to the base of the feet
