A Chinese blue and white bottle vase decorated in the Ming Style, 19th century
of typical form with a globular body with two ridges at the shoulder, a short flaring foot and a concave flaring neck, decorated in bright underglaze blue with a band of stylised scrolling lotus below bands of diamond geometric design and dots, ruyi form lappets, diaper work and plantain leaves, the top with a band of castellation design and diaper work, the base with a band of stylised lotus panels, the base glazed with two concentric circles in underglaze blue
