A heavy 18 carat yellow gold ruby and diamond set poudrier circa 1950
of square shape with reeded top applied with a ruby and diamond cluster and gold work florette, weighing approx 204 grams without the mirror and with original suade pouchet. Appoximate weight of diamonds 0. 54 carats. H to I colour .VS clarity. Rubies 0.78 carats
Lot note: Copy of receipt dated 19th October 1950 from Cartier Paris, stating that they had supplied the florette at a cost of 180,000 Francs.
