A large and rare antique diamond hummingbird brooch, circa 1860
The bird of three dimentional design, finely set throughout with rose-cut diamonds and cabochon ruby eyes holding in its beak a rose-cut diamond set hoop with natural pearl drop to the centre. The body with compartment container natural feather plumage in original fitted case (2)
